I grew up sailing on a lake in Illinois. From sailing school to regattas with family and friends, sailing was my favorite sport and pastime. Fast forward to when I moved to Seattle, my husband and I were newly friends when he asked me to teach him to sail. That summer we sailed together every week, and now, 9 years later, we have our own sailboat that we've taken all over the Salish Sea.
